Thank you to everyone that came out for conferences this week!

Please note that the district has decided that we will make up two of our snow days on Friday, February 16 and Friday, March 9.  A survey will be sent out about other potential options for the two remaining days.  We will send the survey out to parents as soon as it is available.

Tomorrow is first semester Honors Day!  Please join us to celebrate our scholars who have perfect attendance, all As and Ss, or all As, Bs, and Ss.  The schedule is: 9:00 am – 5th Grade, 10:00 am – 1st Grade, 11:00 am – 3rd Grade, 12:00 pm – 2nd Grade, and 1:00 pm – 4th Grade.

Next week there will be a Principal’s Advisory Council and PTA meet and greet from 6:00pm on Tuesday, January 30.  It will be followed by a PTA meeting at 6:30.  Childcare will be available for the PTA meeting.

It has been a great week at the Ridge!  Report Cards are coming home in courier this week.  We have conference night on January 23.  To sign up for conferences, please visit https://www.myconferencetime.com/laurelridge/  If you need assistance signing up for a conference or don’t have regular internet access, please contact your child’s teacher.  We will have our first semester Honors Day on Friday, January 26.  Invitations and information will be sent in next week’s courier.

Welcome back Eagles!  We hope that everyone had a wonderful winter break.  There are a lot of great things to look forward to this semester.

Next week your child will get their first-semester report card as well as information about how to schedule a parent conference for our upcoming conference night on January 23.  If you have not already marked your calendar, Honors Day will be held on Friday, January 26.

Please help us in welcoming Ms. Kelly to the LRE family.  She will be joining the Kindergarten team next week!  Thank you to Ms. Clark who has done an amazing job with the class while we found just the right person to join the LRE family.
